Rev. Jennifer Holder is currently serving as interim priest at Ascension and chaplain for Canterbury students  of University of Southern Mississippi. Jennifer moved to Hattiesburg in 2023 after retiring as rector of St.Christopher’s Episcopal Church in Lubbock, Texas. She has also been an oncology and palliative care chaplain at Baylor Health Care System in Dallas and Canterbury chaplain with students  at Texas Tech University. She earned her M.Div and D.Min at a Brite Divinity School of Texas Christian University.
